UNION STEELWORKER

Father of four, grandfather of five, and lifelong resident of St. Clair County, Dan Rhyne has spent the last 25 years working at Granite City Steel where he currently serves as Treasurer of United Steelworkers Local 1899 and Chairman of Veterans of Steel.

MARINE CORPS VETERAN

No stranger to public service, Dan was previously a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps deploying to Bosnia with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit in support of NATO peacekeeping efforts where he earned his Naval Aircrew Wings and the Navy and Marine Crops Achievement Medal.
